Multi-Generational Day Center

The Multi-Generational Center provides adult day services and a preschool, offering an intergenerational experience for children and adults.

Located in our Multi-Generational Building, Caring Hands & More Adult Day Services will help your family member maintain independence and health when you can’t be with him or her.

Our Adult Day program can also be a welcome respite for caregivers.

We provide meals, activities, transportation, and hands-on care for those needing assistance with activities of daily living.

Adult day services are designed for elderly adults, or adults with brain injury who desire social interaction and involvement with others, and who have experienced a decreased ability to accomplish daily tasks independently. This includes individuals with memory loss, mobility challenges, and other health concerns.

Caring Hands & More Adult Day Center ensures individuals who need assistance during the day enjoy a sense of independence while receiving support and encouragement — and participate in meaningful activities.

Team members work closely with each participant and their care team to create a personalized program. We take time to get to know participants on an individual basis, discovering their special interests, supporting them in their challenges. We encourage independence, connection to the community, and multi-generational interactions. This kind of meaningful social interaction has been linked with decreased loneliness, delayed mental decline, lower blood pressure, and reduced risk of disease and death in elders.

Adult Day Services

Our adult day services cater to the unique needs of individuals requiring specialized care and support in a stimulating and inclusive environment. Our team of experienced caregivers provides professional assistance and supervision to promote independence and enhance the overall well-being of participants. Through engaging activities, therapeutic exercises, and personalized care plans, we ensure a nurturing and safe setting where individuals can thrive and maintain their cognitive, physical, and emotional capabilities.

Our commitment to person-centered care means that each participant receives individualized attention and support, tailored to their specific requirements. We understand the importance of maintaining a structured routine and fostering social connections, which is why our program encourages socialization and offers opportunities for meaningful interactions with peers.

Our adult day services aim to improve the quality of life for participants and provide respite and peace of mind for their families and caregivers.

Day Habilitation Services

Habilitation services support individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities in enhancing life skills and expanding social community.

Day Habilitation consists of providing regularly scheduled activities in a nonresidential setting, separate from the individual’s private residence or other residential living arrangement.

Activities and environments are designed to foster the acquisition of skills, building positive social behavior and interpersonal competence, greater independence and personal choice. Services are furnished consistent with the individual’s person-centered plan.

Day Habilitation services focus on enabling the individual to attain or maintain their maximum potential and are coordinated with any needed therapies in the individual’s person-centered services plan.
